Discover the best destination of the summer—
SonRise National Park!  Come to a land of invigorating power and beauty where there is nothing between you and Gods big sky!  Campers will enjoy the thrills of daily treks where they can face extreme challenges and learn to depend on the promises of Jesus—promises each of us can cling to.  They will discover the true treasure described in Philippians 4:19, “My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

Parents, grandparents and friends are invited to join us each day at 11:30 for the Closing Assembly, a daily celebration of  Jesus’ love you won’t want to miss.

Take your kids to SonRise National Park VBS and get them started on a life-changing journey that will last the rest of their lives.  They will know no matter what extreme challenges may come their way in life, they will have the indescribable, all-powerful, unchanging, unwavering Jesus to guide their way.

“God made eagles to sense when a storm is coming.  They fly to a high spot and wait for the storm.  When the storm comes, the eagle peacefully and safely rides the winds above the storm.  Eagles remind us that God can give us peace through all the storms in life.”

“God made beavers to know how to build a safe home in the midst of rushing water.  Beavers work hard to give their families what they need.  The beaver reminds us that God provides for all of our needs.”

“God made squirrels to gather nuts so that when they are hungry they have something to eat.  Every time we memorize God’s Word, it’s like we are collecting and storing up what we need.  Then when we are tempted, we have what we need to say ‘no’ to sin.”

“God made huskies to love people.  They are very friendly and need the attention and care of their owners.  The husky reminds us that God made us to need Him!  God sent Jesus so that we can know how much God loves us.”

“God made caribou to travel in herds to help each other stay safe.  They warn each other of danger and they teach young caribou where to go to find food.  The caribou remind is that when we stick close to Jesus, we can have hope for the future.”

The fun and excitement of the great outdoors is combined with the discovery of God's tremendous love and the amazing promises He has given us.  The purpose of Summit Seekers is to help children develop an awareness and confidence in the promises of God.  In their everyday lives, each child will face challenges.  We want our children to know that whatever their circumstances, they can depend on God.
